Abstract

This article aims to analyze the controversial figure of the abbreviated procedure that was born into legal life with the establishment of the accusatory criminal system in Mexico, having as a teleology to create a strategic policy to stimulate the resolution of criminal cases, thereby alleviating saturation of the judicial system. Popularizing in a short time as a figure of invaluable empirical utility, but permeated with nuances of unconstitutionality. Although its operability has been well received by the legal community, its nature of negotiated justice keeps it from becoming a genuine restorative figure.
